Strength training reduces the risk of injury, increases power and speed, and improves stability
We support our members to participate in structured strength and conditioning sessions aimed at specific muscle groups used in Triathlon.
Ali Dorgan, Neuromuscular Therapist facilitates these sessions once a week and ensures
the sessions are fun and suitable to all club members. Facilitating different levels of fitness,
mobility and strength in the class. She also includes a small bit of mobility towards the end of
each session. The sessions are fun and dynamic. Ideally this session should be
complimented with a second weights session in your own time to aim to get two sessions a
week for best results.
